Riser Fitness, established in 2013, is a multi-unit operator and developer of the Club Pilates franchise system. With locations in AZ, CA, CO, OR, and WA. Riser Fitness is one of the largest and longest operating franchisees of Club Pilates Studios.

Club Pilates offers group reformer classes in various formats and levels to accommodate everyone seeking to learn Pilates and hone their fitness expertise. Committed to providing affordable and accessible Pilates to the community, class formats target a wide range of clients needs – from young to more senior and beginner to advanced. Club Pilates was one of the first studios to create a 500-hour Teacher Training Program designed to thoroughly and safely teach group Pilates apparatus classes. Its over 2200 instructors provide over 17 million workouts a year to tens of thousands of members. Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Recruiter to join our corporate team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring exceptional talent for instructor and sales positions across our organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be willing to travel, and actively engage in grassroots efforts to build a robust talent pipeline. This position reports to our President and COO with a dotted line to the Director of People. 

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

                •              Develop and execute creative recruitment strategies to source qualified candidates for instructor and sales roles.

                •              Leverage various platforms such as job boards, social media, and networking events to identify potential candidates.

Travel & Engagement:

                •              Attend job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to represent the company and attract top talent.

                •              Conduct studio visits to meet with local teams and understand regional hiring needs.

                •              Lead grassroots recruiting efforts, including community outreach and partnerships with local organizations.

Candidate Screening:

                •              Conduct phone screens and initial interviews to evaluate qualifications and cultural fit.

                •              Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders.

Collaboration:

                •              Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

                •              Provide market insights and feedback to improve recruitment strategies.

Recruitment Operations:

                •              Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) Paycom.

                •              Prepare offer letters and support onboarding processes.

                •              Track and report recruitment metrics to measure effectiveness and success.

Brand Advocacy:

                •              Serve as an ambassador for the company, promoting its mission, vision, and culture to prospective candidates.

                •              Build and nurture relationships with potential candidates, creating a pipeline for future roles.

                •              Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

                •              2+ years of recruitment experience, preferably within the fitness, wellness, or sales industries.

                •              Willingness to travel for job fairs, studio visits, and grassroots initiatives (up to 30% travel).

                •              Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment processes.

                •              Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

                •              Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

                •              Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.

                •              Passion for the fitness and wellness industry is a plus.
